Hi,

Inorder to support windows 2008 you need ACS 4.2.0.124 patch 4.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_for_windows/4.2/release/notes/ACS42_RN.html

If you have a windows 2k8 R2 as DC, then you need an ACS 5.2

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_for_windows/4.2.1/Installation_Guide/windows/install.html#wp1041324

Hope this helps..

Regards,

Anisha

hi,

you will have to use 4.2.1.15 in case ur DC is a 64 bit machine. It is available on the CCO i.e. cisco.com download site. You can download from there

hi

how to verify if its working or not?

what the "ACS-4.2.1.15.4-Clean.zip"for?

i have applied the patch but i didnt see users listes in ms AD inside the acs group of users

Hi,

You will have to do configure an external database, and then map the groups.

The group mappings will not come up automatically.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_for_windows/4.2/user/guide/UsrDb.html

ACS-4.2.1.15.4-Clean.zip is used to uninstall the entire ACS.

Hope this helps.

Anisha
