Hi,

I have acs server installed on windows 2003 server. I am using 2 nic , sometimes it pings to the server address but testing is fail.

It shows no authoritive response from server. When I restart my pc it starts testing again.I think its two nic problem.

Can anyone suggest me another way of doing  the successfull test without restarting my pc.

Plz Help me.

Chandan,

The guide explains how this was tested using one nic, are both nics plugged in when you perform your test?

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_for_windows/4.2.1/Installation_Guide/windows/install.html#wp1041506

If so, please unplug one of the nic cards, reboot and see if this fixes your issue.

Thanks,

Tarik Admani

Yes, both nics are plugged in at the time of testing.Conectivity test is successful but protocol testing donot work

Single nic works well ...but problem is that i cannot unplug another nic and reboot . Isnt there any other way ..I tried to restart from ACS>system configuration>service control. but still it didnt work

This isnt supported -

There is a feature enhancment that hasnt been addressed, you will have to reach out to your account team for them to provide a roadmap with regards to this feature request.
