ACS upgrade from 4.0 to 4.2.1 Windows

Hi Experts ,

Can anyone please tell me the procedure how to  upgrade fromACS 4.0 to 4.2.1  with data restoring .

Please guide me with the upgrade path and the step by step procedure .

Currently i am running with 4.0 i need to upgrade to 4.2.1 windows.

Angus, You can not upgrade ACS windows directly from 4.0 to 4.2.1, you first need to upgrade existing database from 4.0.1.27 to ACS 4.1.1.24, backup the ACS 4.1 configuration, upgrade it to 4.2.0.124, take backup again and than upgrade it to 4.2.1.15.

You can take backup/restore from section, system configuration -> ACS backup -> Backup now/backup restore.
