Hello,
We have ACS Cluster of 2 1111 SE running:
Cisco Secure ACS 3.2.3.11
Appliance Management Software 3.2.3.11
Appliance Base Image 3.2.2.2
and bought 2 new ACS SE 1121 5.x
The whole thing here is to get suitable backup file to be imported to the new ACS.
We have cca 1000 users in DB so manual reconfig is not an option.
Do we need to isolate the secondary ACS in regards to OS ver. incompatibility?
Thank you.

There is a migration tool that you can use to go from ACS 4.2 to ACS 5.2. Since your current ACS deployment is running an older version, I would recommend that you set up a separate, non-production ACS instance with the same version that you currently have, then restore a backup of the current database (or do a one-time replication to it), then upgrade it in steps until you reach 4.2, at which point you can use the migration tool.

Hi Javier
Thanks for the answer.
Well, we do not have separate box available so we'll need to use the backup box for this purpose.
Question is whether we have any risks on primary ACS when upgrading the backup device.
Maybe it would be good to remove the backup device form cluster?
Best regards,
Olivier
