Dear Cisco community,
a customer has a problem where when trying to install the Cisco AnyConnect 4.5, a dialog pops up showing the message as seen in the picture attached to this discussion. This only occurs where a employee has his PC with AnyConnect 4.4 and Windows 10 Fall update installed, then after uninstalling the version 4.4 and trying to install 4.5, this is where the problem occurs. We have tried numerous combinations trying to resolve it, but nothing helped. Any help is appreciated.
Best regards

For anyone facing this issue, a quick fix would be to install a tool like CCleaner and run the Registry cleanup. After that, AnyConnect would install without a problem.

This is a problem with the installer. I tried most things I could find on the internet to 'remove' the old one, only to try using the predeployment .msi installer and have it work 1st shot.
Grab this file out of the Predeployment ZIP bundle and use it instead:
anyconnect-win-4.5.04029-core-vpn-predeploy-k9.msi
You can find in this:
AnyConnect Pre-Deployment Package (Windows) - includes individual MSI files
anyconnect-win-4.5.04029-predeploy-k9.zip
