I got the following two queries from my customer:
1- Do we have an API to resend the guest password as SMS instead of resetting it completely?
2- If we reset the password via the API which API shall we use to send it via SMS?

First, thanks for the feedback. However, can the API resend the guest password as SMS instead of resetting it completely? In other words, we can call the API to resend the password only. Another question, in case of reset can we call the SMS API and it will send the new password by SMS?

The resetpassword and sms/email calls are separate calls. There is no requirement to reset password in order to use the sms/email calls. These calls will send current credentials, not previous credentials.
Did you try the calls and find it is not behaving as I have stated?
I don't have a lab to try it. I will pass it to the customer and ask him to try the behaviour. Thanks a lot for the help and will let you know my customer feedback.
