I am attempting to get a particular user acocunt configured with public key authentication. I have followed every document i could find to properly format the public key (Putty for windows and even ssh-keygen on linux seem to format it in a way that the ASA does not like). I right click on the user and hit edit. I then go to the Public Key Authenticaiton tab and enter the public key in a format the ASA will take (I was originally getting Invalid Base64 public key but I seem to have resolved this). I click on and the window closes. I then click applay and get something similar to the following
[ERROR] ssh authentication publickey (public key here)
ssh authentication publickey (publick key is here again but is not formatted the same. about 30-40 characters or so there is a space and ^ before continuing with the key. The key is also separated into multiple lines rather than all in one line) - I am not sure if this formatting is just somethig the ASA does.
