Good Morning (UTC -4), Everyone,
Is anyone seeing successful VMWare Fusion guest (specifically Windows 10 20H2) 802.1X authentication using bridged mode in MacOS Big Sur?
It appears Fusion is swallowing EAP response frames. If you have this working, can you advise if you had the problem previously and fixed it?
Thank you,
Nathan

Per the RFC, this is not supposed to work. It's hit or miss in its implementation though since many transparent switch/hubs will actually forward EAP frames across the link local boundary when they aren't supposed to. VMware would be doing what it's supposed to do to be 802.1d compliant and not forwarding the EAP frames.
