Can we configure ACS 5.x to send an email after a backup

Hello all,

I was wondering it is possible to configure ACS 5.x to send an email after an incremental/full backup is complete. I get emails for when the database purge has started and completed but nothing on backups.

I did some digging and found the following log message that I think I want to do the email on or generate an alarm for...but I can't figure out how to set it up. Any assistance would be welcome.

Hi Xavier,

We don't have a option to send email for incr/full backup after completing for success case.

We have option to send emails for  backup failures or restore  success/Failure scenario.Please see the below for those options.

On-demand Full Backup failed: Exception Details.

Full Database Backup failed. Exception Details.

Full Database Purge Backup failed. Exception Details.

Incremental Backup Failed. Exception Details.

Incremental Restore Successful.

Incremental Restore failed. Reason: Exception Details

On-demand Full Backup failed: Exception Details

Full Database Backup failed: Exception Details.

Full Database Purge Backup failed: Exception Details

Incremental Backup Failed: Exception Details

 

If we configure the emails ,then it will send above cases . If there is no incrbackup/Full backup failed ,then we can think ,it is success.

We have no option to configure email settings for incr/full backup success case.
