CIMC Vulnerability - SNS appliances affected?

Hi,

Are the SNS appliances affected by this:

https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20170419-cimc3

From what I understand, CIMC updates are delivered through ISE software (maybe I am wrong). If yes, what is the plan to incorporate the fix for these appliances?

Thanks

Hi,

If you have a 3400 based appliance, you can download the UCS software from CCO and upgrade as you would any UCS appliance.  If you have an existing 3500 affected, you will need to open a TAC case to get the fix.  New customers ordering 3500 series appliances will not be affected as we are shipping with a much newer version of code.
