Cisco 2801 not talking correctly over radius to RSA Auth Mgr 8.x

Trying to setup a 2801 to talk to RSA auth mgr.  Using 12.4.4 code on the Router.

using the following commands to setup for Radius (Per RSA Docs) -

aaa new-model

aaa authentication login default radius line enable

aaa authentication ppp default radius

radius-server host 1.2.3.4 auth-port 1645 acct-port 1646 key my_key

radius-server timeout 120

the problem I am running into is in the challenge-response area.  I have had RSA Support on the phone all morning and they are pointing their fingers at the router.  RSA turned on diagnostics and showed me where they are sending the message about entering a 4 to 8 digit pin.  What the router is showing is enter current password.

In the RSA  ready implementation guide, RSA tests with IOS 12.4.3, so being on 12.4.4 shouldnt be a problem as far as I know.

Suggestions ?

Ron

It's little late to reply but let's see where this issue stands.

If it is still unresolved, can we check the "debug radius" and "debug aaa authentication" for an attempt.

Also, do you see any hits on the RSA auth manager. Please share what doc you followed to setup the same.
