Cisco ACS 5.2 System Alarm [Collector]

Hi

I have one issue with my ACS 5.2 General Reports, if anyone can help would be great.

We have two ACS 5.2 Primary and Secondary. Both are working fine but have one system alarm in general reports.

showing "Value too long (<secondary server name, RadiusAccounting)"

I have attached screenshot of this error.

At this stage we are using TACACS device authentication only, no RADIUS. Both these servers are sync and conf are same.

Not sure what exacly causing this system error, can anyone help on this.

Thanks

Santosh

This has been seen when an accounting packet is received on the ACS appliance and is missing the class attirbute. However this is a cosmetic issue and there is no bug on this. If you would like to have someone look at this and addressed please collect debug-level logs of the runtime and mgmt-acsview logs and open a service request on when the issue occured.

You can do this by ssh into the ACS, then issue the acs-config command, login with web credentials, then issue a show debug-log, if all levels are set to warn, then issue debug-log runtime level debug, debug-log mgmt acsview level debug.

Repeat for both servers, once the error is present please download a support bundle.

Please open a service request with this information and we will be more than happy to help.
