Cisco ACS 5.3.new user is getting denied access.

Hi,

we have acs 5.3. i have created new user. when i try to login in router, the access is denied, but with the same user i am able to access nexus switch.

so with newly created user, i can only access nexus switch but can access any other devices. all the devices belongs to same device group. all the old users of same group can access all the devices.

I have also reboted the ACS. unable to under stand whu i am able to access nexus switch and not able to access any other switch or router.

please help.

Hi,

Have you checked your authentication report to see if the requesting is hitting ACS from that router?

Hi,

I Agree with Tarik. You need to check the reports to see why the request is failing or if the user reaches the ACS in the first place.
