Cisco ACS 5.5 Primary log Collector

Dear all,

I do have installed Cisco ACS 5.5 as primary (log collector)& 1 Secondary instance.

My question is that,

If ACS 5.5 primary fails, whether secondary ACS instance will take the roll of Log collector automatically, if not how can i get the logs if primary log collector fails.

as far as i know, the answer is no

you need to use 

Monitoring Configuration > System Operations > Log Message Recovery.

by default, each ACS have an local log. ( it will deleted after 7 days <-- default value ) , you can change that value on :

System administration -> Configuration -> Log Configuration -> Local Log Target ( i'm looking in ACS 5.4 )
