Cisco ACS 5.8 (HA deployment)- Log Collector

Hi Everybody,


Today I changed the log-collector role from the primary node  to the secondary node and right now I can´t see the historic logs I only see new logs


How can  I transfer the historic logs to the new log collector (Secondary) ?

Hi,

It happens when you move from one log collector to another. It just change the role. Though old logs will remain on primary log collector.

In order to move logs to other server, we need to restore any recent logging backup using

Monitoring Configuration > System Operations > Data Management > Restore
