Hi,
We have cisco ACS with 5.3.
I have change the admin password with following command;
also created read only access..
username admin password hash ******* role admin
username test password hash ******* role user
but after that I am not able to login with console and also with SSH login.
What could be the problem and how can we recover that password?
Amy kind of help is appreciated.
Thanx
Arjun

If you used the "hash" keyword you will need to reboot the ACS wil the ISO and recover the password, (i think it is option 3 or 4).
For example if I use a password of cisco and use the same syntax as your post, I am telling ACS to use the hash value of cisco and not the actual cisco password. When you enter the command "plain" ACS automatically hashes the password when a show run is generated.
Thanks,
