Cisco ISE 3.1 status LED's

I am needing to know how to disable drive locate function as I am getting a flashing Amber LED on my drive. I am running version 3.1 on my SNS-3615, also my system health LED  is steady Amber. This all started after I upgraded to 3.1.

Is the function of device working as expected - only LED shows amber ?

This may be bug - since you mentioned it was ok before and after upgrade you noticed this issue :

check the LED status :

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

I am not able to SSH into the device into the server from my PC and prior to the upgrade I was able to. That is correct that the system LED is the only one that is showing Amber.

As i have asked before - is the node part of distributed deployment ? you are not able access SSH - are you able to ping ?

Suggest to you need to connect to CIMC and check - or console in to it. (have you rebooted and same outcome).

Sorry I must have missed that. No this is not part of a distributed deployment. I am able to PING and I am able to access ISE via the GUI. I will look into the CIMC and I will update this thread. Thanks

These LEDs are part of the UCS chassis management, so you would need to connect to the CIMC to check and manage those settings.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/sw/gui/config/guide/4_3/b_cisco_ucs_c-series_gui_configuration_guide_43/b_Cisco_UCS_C-series_GUI_Configuration_Guide_41_chapter_01001.html#task_658A064FECAD488C9DA8E2AE2DA06A09

The ISE application has no control over those chassis functions.

Status update.  I logged into the CIMC by rebooting the ISE server from CLI and then as soon as it rebooted I selected F8 to open up the CIMC. I was not able to locate anything but the following areas NIC Properties, IP Basics, Smart Access USB, NIC Redundancy, VLAN (Advanced), Common Properties, Factory Defaults, Default User (Admin), Port Properties, Port Profiles. In the documentation that you sent in your response it said to look in the navigation pane for the chassis summary. I am wondering what am I missing that I didnt see this information in the documentation.

From the 'Overview' section of the document link I shared earlier.

"Overview of the Cisco IMC User Interface

The Cisco IMC user interface is a web-based management interface for Cisco C-Series servers."

The F8 option is where you configure the basic settings for the CIMC. You need to open a browser and connect to the IP address you set on the CIMC using HTTPS.

You need to jump on CIMC, this is what manages the Chassis and check the Logs of it, i can be a miryad of things really.

I was able to log into the CIMC and I found out I am having drive issues. I need to get a TAC case opened up and see if they can replace this drive or if I have to ask my company to purchase another drive. I was hoping it was just the location LED was illuminated, but no it is hardware related. Thanks all for the help!
