Cisco ISE APEX licensing with MDM

Dear all,

I want to run APEX on my ISE but I have a question regarding MDM licensing vs APEX licensing.

Does a device that is not in MDM draw both a MDM licens and a APEX licens at the same time?

Currently using AirWatch MDM

MDM is compliance. It is the APEX license. There is no separate MDM license
