Cisco ISE Base License

I read in the forum that Cisco ISE will replace Cisco ACE someday.

* For network devices AAA - RADIUS, ISE Base License is sufficient?
* Does AAA count towards the client usage?

Yes since a MAB authentication took place it will consume a license. If you want to protect against this then you would have to protect your OPEN SSID perhaps with a WPA-PSK configuration

Following up on this thread, in a wireless guest environment, if a user connects to the guest ssid, and opens the login portal but does not actually login, is a base license consumed?

Yes since a MAB authentication took place it will consume a license. If you want to protect against this then you would have to protect your OPEN SSID perhaps with a WPA-PSK configuration
