Cisco ISE BYOD - Android Initial Connection in Single SSID Flow

Hi,

In a BYOD Single-SSID Flow the initial connection to the SSID is secured by PEAP-MSCHAPv2.

When connection to this SSID for the first time with a android device, besides username and password the user is asked for a bunch of other options to define like Phase2-Authentication, CA-Certificate, IP-Settings, Proxy etc. This is not really user friendly. On Apple Devices, the user is just asked for username and password. Is there a way to have android devices act similar as apple devices on the inital connection to secured SSID?

Thanks and regards,

Marc

It’s up to the android software on how to work. We have no control of this

Would suggest you try dual ssid flow with open network first if you don’t want to have user deal with this
