Cisco ISE Dispersed Deployment

Just looking for information for dispersed deployments for ISE.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/3-0/install_guide/b_ise_InstallationGuide30/b_ise_InstallationGuide30_chapter_1.html

Documentation lists deployment types but any search I've done, Web or Cisco, for information regarding differences seems only to show distributed deployment and not dispersed.

Which to me dispersed seems to be the better deployment for regional networks or adding another region later.

Hi @ArloS ,

the Deployment Models are: Evaluation, Small, Medium and Large (please take a look at Performance and Scalability Guide).

The Dispersed Network Deployment is part of the Large Deployment.

In the past we have: Standalone (a deployment that has a single ISE Node) or Distributed (a deployment that has more than one ISE Node) Deployments (for ex.: ISE Installation Guide 2.4 - search for Standalone and Distributed ISE Deployments)

In other words ... take a look at Large Deployment info for better understand of Dispersed Network Deployment.

Hope this helps !!!
