ISE Database listener not ready yet. Seconds left before timeout: 0

ERROR: FAILED TO START DB!

Database is not available within timeout of 240 seconds.

This could be the result of incorrect network interface configuration,

or lack of resources on the appliance or VM.  Please fix the issue and

run the following CLI to re-prime database:

'application reset-config ise'

error:[cpminitialsetup.sh]

Any advice?

Please make sure that the ISE has  access to ntp and dns (both forward and reverse  records).

and as you are using VM machine so 60  to 600 GB of disk storage (size depends on deployment and tasks) are required.  But 200 GB or more disk space are required to a production  environment.

In your case, I highly recomand you to  allot a minimum of 200 GB of disk space and use a hard disk drive with a minimum  of 10,000 RPM.

ISE must be installed on a single disk  in VMware. If you use several small disks to meet the disk space requirement for  installing ISE, you might experience some unexpected behavior.

Hi

I faced this issue today;

It was due to NTP misconfiguration; the server was not syncrounised with NTP server

When I fixed the NTP issue the server working fine I just run

application reset-config ise

the server now is up
