Cisco One Licensing and ISE part numbers

Hello

I was expecting the ISE ordering guide to have some explanation about this part number C1-ISE-BASE-AP- but I managed to find out that it is Cisco ONE Identity Services Engine 25 EndPoint Base Lic.   Customer has  QTY: 2000

Does this mean they have a base license of 50,000 ?

Customer wants

  • Virtualisation
  • 50,000 Plus licenses

Before I go back to them with a Bill of Materials for VM and Plus licenses, I wanted to know whether perhaps the C1-ISE-* is part of a "bundle" that perhaps also includes VM and Plus (but the customer wasn't aware) ???  Just checking.  I did searches on Cisco One but I got buried in tons of marketing glossies, but not much useful fact.

thanks in advance

That is only a base license.  The customer would have to buy the plus and VM licenses.  Think of it basically as a primer to get you started on ISE when you buy Cisco wireless or add on to an existing ISE deployment.  Base licenses would cover most of the scenarios you are going to do in wireless.
