Configure Application Server down alarm ISE (Identity Services Engine)

Good afternoon.
I need help to configure an alarm to warn that the Apllication server service is not running or is initializing. The ISE version is 3.2.0.542 Patch 6.

I think this question has been asked many times over the years and there is no simple solution in ISE itself ... not as far as I can tell. The closest Alarm is "Health Status Unavailable" because the MNT will expect a heartbeat from all the nodes, and if these are missed then the Alarm will trigger. It doesn't tell you the cause though. 

Perhaps others have made their own solution using 3rd party monitoring tools/scripts using synthetic tests that can only pass if the application services are running.

ISE natively supports monitoring of these critical processes via SNMP trap. This is what the vast majority of customers use for monitoring these aspects.
