Daylight Savings Times in Timezones

Folks,

I have a customer that is bumping into some troubles with timezones in EMEA and hoping you can shed some light as to the best practice.

Ideally they would like to have it adjust to daylight savings automatically for GMT/BST and CET/CEST

I think there are similar options for US like EST5EDT and CST6CDT.

Is there anything that can automatically adjust DST in Europe?

(if not they are considering making a CET/BST and setting it as +1)

What have we seen other customers doing?

You can use GB and CET instead which are adjusted per DST.
