Hi,
I'm having some trouble understanding what are the sources for ISE to retrieve devices' IPs from.
Let's say that I have a device that accesses the network and gets a dynamic IP address from the DHCP server. Then, ISE registered both the MAC and IP addresses as coupled to the device.
Then, the device receives another, different, IP from the DHCP server but for some reason a copy of the request doesn't reach ISE.
Is there a way for it to know that the IP address is now different and the data shown to the user is actually incorrect?
Thanks

Do you have your RADIUS accounting setup to do either interim updates or update when there is new info?

I'd like to compare the two possibilities. If I have my RADIUS accounting setup update when there's new info then unless the update is lost I'll have the information synchronized. Otherwise, if I configure interim updates then I'll have a period in which there'll be an inconsistency between MAC and IP.
Is that true?
