dot1x need a long memory

I have switch 2950 48 port.

All its ports configured dot1x.

The network is very slow.

This switch connect to 6500 (BB) on 1G.

what to do?

1.Is replacing the 2950 switch? (2960G,3560,3750)

2.Will add another one uplink? (lag)

3.Does the DOT1X this problem?(Need a long memory "show processes memory")

Normally dot1x doesn't spike memory usage. however, this can only be confirmed if we can remove dot1x from the switch. This might not be possible in your setup.

dot1x system-auth-control

The dot1x system-auth-control Global Configuration mode command enables 802.1x globally.

Please read command refrence guide for the same before you execute it.
