Guest account extension not working

Hi All

 

I have a funny problem:

A guest account has expired. The guest tries to login but doesn't succeed (normal).

I extend the account via the sponsor portal. The guest tries again but the login fails (user expired) and the guest account duration gets reset to 0.

 

What does work:

A guest account has expired. I extend the account via the sponsor portal.

The guest logs in and succeeds.

 

So it is not possible to extend an account if a guest has previously tried to login with his expired account.

 

Anyone had a similar problem?

In both cases is the guest mapped to the same guest user type and does the time you are extending the guest go past the maximum number of days allowed for that guest type?  I don't extend guests that often, but I don't believe you can go past maximum days.  For example if you have a 1 day policy and you try to extend to a second day I thought that fails.
