Guest related queries

Hi Team,

We are in a PoV of Cisco ISE with v2.1 and need to know if we can address the requirements as below:

• Can the guest user use email id or mobile number as his username. Currently Cisco ISE is generating the username automatically by combining the Name and Surname, instead of that the user name should be either email id or the mobile number of that guest user which he is entering in the Internet Access Request Portal

• The timer for the guest user starts when the user sends the request for the Internet Access. Can the timer be started after the user gets approved by the sponsor.

• The password for the guest user is alphanumeric, can it be configured to be only numeric.

Appreciate any help on this.

Actually I don't' have access to ISE 2.1 but these are the settings from ISE 1.4 below:

• Can the guest user use email id or mobile number as his username. Currently Cisco ISE is generating the username automatically by combining the Name and Surname, instead of that the user name should be either email id or the mobile number of that guest user which he is entering in the Internet Access Request Portal
• Yes you can based on Email ID (on Cisco ISE 1.4) you can go to Guest Username Policy as shown below
• 
• The password for the guest user is alphanumeric, can it be configured to be only numeric.
• Yes, You can do that under Guest Password Policy as shown below
• 
• The timer for the guest user starts when the user sends the request for the Internet Access. Can the timer be started after the user gets approved by the sponsor.
• That I'm not sure you mean the time the user is allowed to access or the timer till the user expires.
• If it is the time till the guest user expire --> I think you would need to test it and see
