ISE 1.1.1 Massive Upgrade Task!

I have upgraded ISEs before, but not from such an early release, My plan now is to make them standalone devices and upgrade that way,

Problem is, On the Primary Node in Deployment on the GUI there is no option to make Standalone? this option was avaialble in later versions.. Any ideas?

How high are you going in version? If you wan't to go all the way to the newest, i would suggest simply fresh installing and then re-create your policies, it's usually much quicker than working through multiple upgrade steps, even more so if you have multiple servers.

Hi Jan, Thanks for the response, I am going to 1.4 for now, I agree with your suggestion, the problem is, will the policys and backend settings be compatible? I have a recent backup.

Could I install a fresh 1.4 ISO, then do all the config via CLI that I need, then restore the backup from the 1.1 version? Do the standby first, check its all ok, then make it the Primary. and repeat for the other node? Appreciate any input on this.
