ISE 1.2 High Availability

Hi Experts,

I'm now planning to configure my ISE to have HA however, the appliance is not identical (SNS-3395-k9 & SNS-3315-k9). Is that possible for it to become HA?

Also, is it possible that each appliance has the 3 personas and configure HA instead of distributing it?

it is not possible to implement a kind of HA between two different appliances 3315 and 3395. 

A node in HA can have the 3 persona. 

Suppose Node A (Admin(primary), monitoring(Primary) and PSN). 

Node B(Admin(Secondary), Monitoring(Secondary) and PSN). 

If the Node A is unavailable, you will have to promote manually the Admin role to Primary. 

Although the best way is to have

Node A Admin(Primary), Monitoring(Secondary) and PSN

Node B Admin(Secondary), Monitoring (Primary) and PSN.
