ISE 2.1 NFS backups not working

Hello,

I am having a hard time trying to get NFS backups working on our ISE appliance (VM), lets call it ISEserver1.

The same config is working for the other ISE appliance, lets call it ISEserver2.

Differences:

ISEserver1, uses NFS version 3 according to the tcpdump ran on ISE.

ISE Version 2.1.0.474

ADE-OS Version 3.0.0.202

ISEserver2, uses NFS version 4

ISE Version 1.3.0.876

ADE-OS Version 2.2.0.162

Both ISE servers are in the same IP range and FW access to the NFS server are fine.

Any idea what could be wrong here?

Why is ISE 2.1 using NFS version 3, can we enforce that?

Please provide the backup log of ISEserver1. Cisco ISE provides backup-logs cli command that you can use to collect logs.

Thanks for the reply, in the meantime we moved to SFTP backups.
