Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows whether ISE is supported on the Nutanix hyperconverged platform? If so, is there a document I can review for its support and can anyone share any further details about this? What I'm really looking for is hypervisor support--Acropolis for Nutanix versus VMware.
Thanks!

ISE is not supported on Acropolis, but if you were to run vmware on Nutanix then yes it would be supported.

Also, even if you run VMware ESXi on Nutanix, you will still not have the ability to install the Nutanix Guest Tools on the ISE VMs.
This is because the Nutanix Guest Tools installation requires root level access to the Linux OS.

Hello Marvin,
Thank you for that bit of additional info. I believe what we're going to do is dedicate some beefier hardware and migrate our VMs to it for hardware support of ISE 2.4 as our current environment is undersized due to hardware limitations of the current host.

Sad it’s not supported. It’s just a hypervisor why should Cisco care what hypervisor a the customer uses? Seems funny to me, test it and certify the appliance.

I've been running ISE 2.4 on Nutanix AHV for two years now and very recently upgraded to 3.0.
If you run into an "Unsupported Hardware Error" -It's probably detecting the nutanix hardware.
