Hi,

I am upgrading a 4 node deployment via the CLI.

I upgraded the PAN without issue. Then moved on to the SAN.

During the process, my wifi cutout.. It has been 1 hour, I have logged back into the CLI, unsure how to proceed.

Currently copying over a support bundle to a share.

Tried viewing "show app status ise":

ISE PROCESS NAME STATE PROCESS ID
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Database Listener running 1286472
Database Server running 115 PROCESSES
Application Server not running
Profiler Database not running
ISE Indexing Engine not running

M&T Session Database not running
M&T Log Processor not running
Certificate Authority Service disabled

McTrust (Meraki Sync Service) disabled
ISE Node Exporter not running
ISE Prometheus Service not running
ISE Grafana Service disabled
ISE MNT LogAnalytics Elasticsearch disabled
ISE Logstash Service disabled
ISE Kibana Service disabled

Tried viewing the ade.log file, but not clear as to what is currently happening.

This node is a virtual node, wondering what the best next steps are? Reload after support bundle copies? Or wait it out a bit, it must be 70mins now since first patch install command.

Cheers

This is where it got too:

admin#patch install ise-patchbundle-3.2.0.542-Patch4-23101514.SPA.x86_64.tar.gz UPGRADE
% Warning: Patch will be installed only on this node. Install using Primary Administration node GUI to install on all nodes in deployment. Continue? (yes/no) [yes] ? yes

On the node you are upgrading, tail the ADE.log file.

show logging system ade/ADE.log tail

It will show you the most recent status messages (or omit the tail and get the whole long file - you will need to save the session output to a text file).

Thanks for getting back to me.

Turns out it broke the node, had to rebuild it in the end!

Cheers
