Hi,

Do we support performing an ISE backup on ISE itself?  Using an USB, attached storage device, or on hard drive?

Thanks,

Jim

You can do a backup locally on ISE itself by creating a repository DISK: but if you lose your ISE, your lose your backup.
However, for USB and/or hard drive attached, you don't have access to the bash to mount a drive and so don't have access through ISE cli. I believe that's not supported. When you use disk: in your repositiory, it saves it into a specific folder but even if you specify disk with a path like /mnt/ it's not working.

Thanks
Francesco
