ISE code recommendation

Greetings,

My customer has been running 1.2 for years and wants to move forward. They like some of the 2.2 features ( Single-click guest account approval, Custom portal file upload, Sponsor access to pending accounts) but would rather have stability over features; any of the newer versions is going to be better than what they have.

What version should we suggest?

Any 2.x will work

2.1 with latest patch is fine
