Hello,
I was checking on ISE device/network compatibility:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/2-4/compatibility/b_ise_sdt_24.html#ciscorouters
and I don't see the NCS5500 model shown as one of the supported devices. I know the NCS 5500 is not an access device and is not one of the listed routers, but if in case someone wanted to use it where endpoints are connected and 802.1x was deployed, there may be interest to use device profiling for those endpoints connected via the NCS 5500.
Are there plans to support this model on ISE for device profiling?
thanks!

For IOS device sensor or the like, please inquire with the hardware platform team. As this is a WAN aggregator, it seems doubtful for that support. For other type of ISE profiling, it should work the same way as the others.

Thanks for the reply. I am checking with the NCS 5500 product team. It makes sense what you say, though when I hear from them, I can provide an update to this thread in case it helps others with a similar or same question.
