I want to schedule an external configuration backup for ISE, DNAC , which is the best workaround. I have veeam as an available option, however I see they support sftp which seem veeam does not support. Do I dedicate a server , eg linux server then back up the server with veeam or which is the best workaround

Hello!
Since Veeam doesn’t support SFTP directly, a good workaround is to set up a Linux server as an intermediary. You can configure the server to receive ISE and DNAC backups via SFTP, store them locally, and then use Veeam to back up that server. Another option is to create an NFS or SMB share on the Linux server that Veeam can back up directly. Automating file transfers using rsync or a script to move backups from SFTP to a Veeam-accessible location is also a viable approach.

Erica
