ISE Guest portal and updated Broswer security

Hi, over the last week our service desk have been receiving a steady steam of calls regarding our guest wireless.  For most people the issue is that there browser will not allow them onto the portal.  After a bit of investigation we have established that this is happening on devices with the most up-to-date browsers - IE11, Firefox 39+ and Chrome.

OSX and iOS devices and those devices with older browsers are running ok.

We are running ISE 1.1.3.124 which is a number of revisions behind so I'm making an assumption that this is the issue as it is 'unaware' of the security standards in these new browsers.

My plan is to upgrade to 1.2 and then onto 1.3 which I had planned to do anyway in the next month, but I just wanted to see if there is a work around on the ISE that can be implemented so that the upgrade is done in a considered rather than rushed manner.

Thanks.

This issue is seen on several Cisco products - ISE and Prime Infrastructure at least.

A couple of threads discuss it and provide workarounds:

Thread 2

ISE 1.3 (or 1.4) will resolve it. Also, ISE 1.2.1 Patch 7.

Here is the official Cisco ISE Bug ID.

Thanks for the swift response Marvin, I'll check our the threads.  I'm looking to move to 1.2.1 (7) to resolve the issue and then plan in an upgrade to 1.3 at a later date.
