Hello,
I have a question regarding customers with legacy virtual machines (R-ISE-VM-K9=) and old ISE licenses like: L-ISE-BSE-3500=
End-of-support for both is 28th of February 2022. This is clear.
If the customer has active service contracts, the VM ware can be rehosted from Cisco via an case in the flavour VMS or VMM.
Also Cisco will rehost the new license if I have an PAK.
This works from a technical perspective.
But: How does the rewrite or update from the installed base from Cisco work?
Because in the service contract there are still the old SKUs from above.
Is this another case?
Thank you and have a nice day

Hi @NHanstein,
This process doesn't work automatiacally, unfortunatelly. You'll need to open a ticket with Contract Management team, asking them to do this update for you. This request should contain old SKUs (like R-ISE-VM-K9=) as well as new one (previous one can be migrated to R-ISE-VMM-K9=). Do not forget to migrate licenses too, such as Base or DeviceAdmin, which are entities for itself, as well as quantities for each. In general, more details you provide initially (such as initial SO number, SKUs, quantitites, etc.) faster the process should be.

thanks a lot for your answers so far.
Where can I open a ticket to the Contract Management team?
Thank you and kind regards
