What are the feature limitations of ISE for mobility express?

Currently the ME AP doesn't support CoA or RADIUS attribute based URL-Redirect. IOW, just basic 802.1X, MAC-Filtering, and Local-WebAuth is supported when integrated with ISE. We are looking to support advanced use cases such as CWA, BYOD, and Compliance in the future.

Hello, for a small museum with about 30 APs, we would like to offer mobility express and ISE express. ISE is needed to provide a customizable captive portal for guest visitors. Can you see any problem putting together ISE express and mobility express?

Right now mobility express doesn’t support guest access CWA and COA AFAIK, please reach out to that team for roadmap

Thankyou Jason. From your answer I understand that Moility Express cannot redirect guest request to ISE portal.

So for the time being a better approach might be:

WLC (e.g. 3504) and ISE express, or

mobility express and CMX as captive portal.

Yes that sounds possible, not sure of the capabilities but believe can do simple splash page

Keep in mind ISE express is just a license bundle for inexpensive entry to ISE, it’s the same product, not required however if you’re not going to be doing wireless Dot1x or ISE guest however

Sorry I see it now, would recommend WLC 3504 and ISE
