ISE Node average IO performance

Da ICS16
Level 1
Level 1

Dear Community,

As per checked on my lab, there is alarms pxGRID node average IO read performance directly from disk device is 275 MB/Sec. Which is less than the min requirement of 300 MB/Sec.

Note: ISE 3.1

Kindly share your commend where can check on  / monitor it?

Is it the normal / abnormal and will impact to VM or not?

Thanks for your supporting and collaboration.

Best Regards,

As far as I can tell, ISE checks this every hour (much to the horror of one customer with whom I worked years ago - he says that his VMWare storage array was freaking out every hour because of these spikes.)  - not sure why Cisco does this it seems a bit extreme in my opinion.

But you can check the latest speed tests with a show tech

show tech-support

- e.g. after a few pages of data you might see something like this - as you can see, it varies.

@Arne Bier Based on CiscoLive 2020 (Working on Solid ISE), ISE continues to test I/O read/write performance on 3-hour intervals:

Dear @rezaalikhani ,

Let us check. thanks.

Dear @Arne Bier ,

Let me review. thanks.
