Hi ,

what are  the best practices when deploying ise , As i know as of november tacacs will be inclused in ISE . We used to place NAC  at distribution layer and  acs at core level . since  ise included both tacacs and nac what is the place to deploy ISE

This would depend on your environment, HA requirements, SLAs, number of users, sites, latency between sites, etc. I would suggest you reach out to your local Cisco partner and go through a design session as there are a lot of moving parts to make ISE a successful implementation.

we have 3 deployement types standalone, distributed,central types depending on your end point count,HA,locations etc you can choose one among these
