Hi there, i have a Customer using an ISE and Self Register Guest Portal. The userdata are send by SMS. At the Moment the Guest has to enter the Phone number in 00(Countrycode) but the most Guests are using the common format +(countrycode). At the moment the common format doesnt work.
In my opinion the SMS Gateway should be able to convert the common format to the 00 format or am i wrong? This is on my idea a normal case. Every Phone-Server does the same...
So am i right or not? Just want to be sure bevor telling the Customer that..
Thanks
Kind Regards
Markus

I am sure it depends on the provider they are integrating with.
Also ISE unfortunately doesn’t provide any formatting assistance in the portal page. Would recommend opening a defect with the TAC on that as a discrepancy
There are some examples here on phone number formatting
