Hello,
I am curious if any of you have used the ISE Guest Sponsor REST API to generate users from an external database?
I have a customer that would like to generate internal users based on patient registration (i.e. Patient checks in to hospital, a guest user is created with Patient Name/Room Number and that login information is emailed/SMS to user).
Has anyone seen this work? Any pitfalls to be aware of?
Thanks,
Jordan

Yes, this can and has been done. This is key use case of Guest ERS API. Point of clarification is that the Guest User is generated in ISE. If assume that the password is generated in external store, then only in more recent versions have we supported the specification of the Guest password along with username from API.
