Memory upgrade for ISE admin node

Hi Community Members,

Pls guide on how should i perform the memory upgrade from 32 to 96Gb for admin node. I have distributed deployment with two admin nodes i.e. one ppan on DC-A and span on DC-B.

      - What ISE hardware are you using ?

I am using VM's with version 3.3 patch 4

  - For an ISE VM you only need to shutdown the (a) node, change the memory in the hypervisor (settings for the VM); and
     boot it up again; afterwards issue the command show application status ise 
     (check if everything is normal)

@marce1000 before I proceed with memory upgrade of primary admin node I have to promote secondary admin to primary is my understanding correct ? Secondly once I shutdown the primary admin once the secondary admin takes primary role does it will cause any outage ?

  - @M Talha  -  It will not cause any outage ; also since that operation doesn't take much time , there is no need to promote  the secondary admin to primary ,
