Hi,
I would like to monitor ISE 2.2 processes via SNMP.
I know that in the Admin Guide we can use SNMP traps for that - however it is not working so well.
I enabled snmp-server on ISE and we are getting allot of processes when performing polling.
The list of processes are attached to the .txt file.
Which processes are relevant to monitor from that list, if I would like to monitor the ISE Application Server processes and all the processes that I can see with that command 'show application status ise'.

Hi Kfir,
ISE application server is a java process. When you do a "sh application status ise", get the PID and use "sh process" you will know the PID and the PPID.
For other information related to monitoring, please see the following thread.
Best practise to monitor Cisco ISE
I saw the text file, trap is sent with process name and some ID . This happens if there is any change and for other reasons as explained in the ISE 2.2 doc
Thanks

Hi,
The PID is dynamic and I will need to check that PID every time...
Is it possible to monitor ISE processes through SNMP GET?
You can see the process list that I get with SNMP GET inside the txt file.
Regarding SNMP Trap. I tried to bring down ISE processes with 'application stop ise' command. However I am not getting any SNMP trap saying that the process is down or not in running state.
Regards.
