What is the current status of your deployment? Have you already integrated ACS 4.2 with AD/domain? If yes, are you able to fetch the active directory groups in group mapping section.

Once done, try and login to your network devices via domain username and password. In case it doesn't work, please go to reports and activities > failed attempts.
