Hi,
For NMAP probe in cisco ISE profiling , do I need any configuration for access-switch ?
Is SNMP configuration needed for NMAP?
Thanks

Hi @SaintEvn
No you don't need any configuration on the switch for NMAP.
NMAP initated from ISE, directly communicates with the endpoints in order learn information used for profiling.

As i mentioned ISE SNMP configure uses it not required any more advanced config.

what is the goal here?
it uses SNMP configuration already in ISE configured, if you doing against profile?

I would like to use NMAP scan information in custom profiling like OS Scan, Common port Scan, etc.
In this case, Do I need extra configuration for NMAP on the switch side?
