I have a question regarding the Cisco AnyConnect client user name and password option. We have an .xlm that we are using for 802.1x, we are using the latest client available. After the machine successfully logs in, the user gets prompted for user name, the issue is that some users get prompted for password and some for passcode.
I would like to know what controls that password and passcode. We are authenticating against ISE 2.3. Ideally we would just want passcode as we are authenticating our users against an external OTP server through ISE which will make the user experience better without confusing them.
Thank you in Advance,

If you meant the difference is in the display of the password prompt, then that is done by NAM profiles. Please check on the client file systems this file location "%programdata%\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Network Access Manager\system\configuration".

Hi hslai,
I will check the location and see how I can modify it to fit our users needs.
Thank you,
